Tangled Incense Bottles

This was a fun summer project. I found these coated bottles at Walmart and of course thought, "I can tangle that! So I started with 2 white, 2 green, and 2 black. Decided to keep a green bottle with copper tangles for myself. Then I tangled 3 more (one of each) for my sister. They are selling very well at Awakening Waters but I really wanted soe in my Etsy shop so I'm working on 3 more (green and white only this time since they seem to be preferred. 

The stick of incense goes upside down into the bottle so the ash collects in the bottle. BRILLIANT!!

For Amy with Love

Our family friend, Summer's fiance, Amy is battling breast cancer.. They are part of a very creative writing community, so, Summer is creating an Anthology of "love" themed stories, poetry, photography, arts, etc to help raise funds to defray the high cost associated with the necessary aggressive treatment. Amy has endured surgery and is into her chemo and radiation treatments. She is unable to work as much as she would have hoped to and is the provider for multiple families. Summer has also set up a Go Fund Me Account for Amy https://www.gofundme.com/amybrowning 

I don't find much time to write these days and my poetry really isn't about love ...  unless you take my viewpoint that it is all about love ;-)

I knew I had to tangle them.  Then I found the idea for incense burner online. I had so much fun making the little wire and bead bottle jewelry. Sure don't know what will become of them. They are currently at Awakening Waters in Garrison Minnesota. I have 2 left to tangle....so hard to decide which one to keep.
