Those mushers (what's left of them) are getting closer to Nome on the Iditarod Race. They are cold and miserable. It's a tough trail this year. But, my thoughts have turned to spring and sunshine and all things green. I played with my inktense pencils for this background and shading. I used a micron .03 pen (my .01s are pretty worn and I wanted to pop the black a little. Wasn't sure what was going to appear on this page until it appeared.
